Christi
Farley, ASID studied at McMurry
University and Southwest Texas State University, receiving
a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas A & M University-Corpus
Christi. She is a member of the American Society of Interior
Designers and Texas Association of Interior Design.
Christi
is licensed with the State of Texas (#6859) as a professional
Interior
Designer and has served on many committees and boards
with ASID and TAID, including President of Texas ASID in
2004-05. She has juried statewide design competitions and spoken
at
university campuses throughout Texas to advance the profession.
Clients and fellow co-workers rely on Christi’s problem-solving
and design skills employing color, texture, balance and
form in creating
unique environments.
Christi has worked
with the Susan Castor Collection for the past 20 years. She
helped establish the “Island Interiors” showroom
and design studio in Port Aransas, Texas, her home for the
last 37 years. You can find her at the Port Aransas studio,
where she practices as the senior supervising designer.

Rhonda
Bosquez, ASID received a Bachelor of Science in Interior
Design with Highest Honors and Special Honors from The University
of Texas at Austin. She studied Architecture at Texas A&M
University-College Station and attended Louisiana Tech-Rome
in Rome, Italy.
She
is licensed by the State of Texas (#475) as a professional
interior designer, is a member of the American Society of
Interior Designers and is the past Chairperson of the Corpus
Christi Association.
Rhonda
brings to the Castor Collection team twenty four years of
design experience. She is often called upon for her expertise
in residential, kitchen, and commercial design projects.
She enjoys historical restoration and adaptive re-use of
historical buildings. |

Kathy
Rumbaugh, Allied ASID, received a Bachelor of Science Degree
from Iowa State University. She is licensed with the State
of Texas (#2372) as a professional Interior Designer. Kathy
is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers
and has served as local chairwoman for ASID. Additionally,
she has served on an ad hoc committee for statewide reorganization
of the Texas Chapter of ASID. She is a member of TAID-Texas
Association for Interior Design.
Kathy’s thoughtful approach to design has been pleasing
clients for 32 years. She joined The Castor Collection in 2000.
Kathy has a sincere desire to approach each project from a client’s
perspective. Considering the personalities and requirements of
all involved is very important to creating a successful project-including
the family pets. She is also sought after among her fellow Castor
Collection designers to offer advice on designing bedding, draperies,
pillows, and other soft goods.
Kathy
and her husband, John, enjoy escaping as often as possible,
on a Harley-Davidson Road King named “Savannah”.
Finding great places to visit and great eateries while on
an open air ride, is a great way to relax.

Lezli
Baugher is our Floral Designer and master Accessorizer. She
has brought her special talents into many of the Coastal
Bend's finest homes for over fourteen years. Whether it is
a party, a centerpiece for the dining table, bookshelf accessorizing
or Christmas decorating, Lezli has become the Floral Designer
of choice in South Texas.
Lezli's
talent with form, texture, and color have contributed to
her reputation, a reputation that is based on many years
of experience and floral knowledge. It is that experience
that has made her an important part of the Susan Castor Collection.

Lisa
Mayo |
Lisa
Mayo recently became the sixth professional interior designer
to join Susan Castor's team. Lisa has a Bachelor of Business
Administration with a minor in Housing and Interiors from Tarleton
State University in Stephenville, Texas. She has a varied professional
background; owning her own design firm, and having had the opportunity
to work for Gabberts Furniture and Design Studio in Fort Worth,
Texas. Her portfolio includes design work in both residential
and commercial projects. Susan feels that Lisa excels in client
consultation, fabrics, window treatments, and furniture. She
has a bright smile and is definitely a "people person". |

Paige
Davis |
Paige
Davis recently moved from Virginia to Corpus Christi and joined
the Castor Collection in November 2005. She has had the opportunity
to move many times over the past twelve years accompanying her
husband who is a Naval officer. Paige attended interior design
school at La Mesa College in San Diego. She also has a fine arts
background and attended Parsons School of Design in New York
and Heatherly School of Fine Art in London. Her design background
ranges from custom jewelry to home restorations.
Paige and her husband and two children enjoy family outings to local
museums, the beach and the aquarium. They are all enjoying their
second tour in Corpus Christi and feel welcomed by the Texas style
hospitality. Paige is a native Texan and was born in Midland.

Jennifer
Roecker has been design assistant to Susan Castor since
November 2007. Jennifer attended Texas State University-San Marcos.
In 2005 she received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer
Sciences with a Major in Interior Design and a Minor in Technology.
Prior to moving to Corpus Christi, she received design experience
from Interior Designers in the Houston area. She is an Allied member
of ASID and is currently the Corpus Christi-Rio Grande Valley Chairman
for the Texas ASID Chapter. She is a member of Cambridge Who’s
Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs and a Chairman
for the Houston Livestock Show Go Texan Committee.
Jennifer’s hobbies include working out, hunting and fishing,
going to the beach, and spending time with her family. |

Manager
A native Texan, Carol grew up in the High Plains and has slowly migrated
south. Realizing a life long dream, Carol quietly closed a successful
garden design business and enrolled in college. She graduated from
Blinn College magna cum laude in 2004. In March 2005, Carol relocated
to Corpus Christi with dawg-daughter, Remy DuBois from Brenham.
Carol
brings to the Susan Castor Collection her skills as an administrator,
teacher and manager, along with the ability to wear many
hats simultaneously.

Shanna
Smith |
Shanna Smith is Retail Manager
of The Susan Castor Collection in Port Aransas. She attended
Arcadia University in Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor
in Fine Arts degree. She also studied in Scotland at Glasgow
School of Art.
Shanna
has studied pottery, sculpting, painting, and beading. Her
artistic and design talents are evident throughout the Port
Aransas Showroom. Shanna enjoys gardening, walking, rollerblading,
painting, beading, and cooking.

Debbie
Rummel |
Debbie
Rummel brings twenty-seven years of experience in the
field of accounting. Debbie was born in Waco, but claims the charming
community of New Braunfels as her childhood home. Relocating to
Corpus Christi thirty-one years ago, Debbie has two grown children
and two granddaughters. When Debbie is not crunching numbers for
the Castor Collection, she enjoys spending time with her family
and going to the latest movie releases with friends |

Cathryn Castor is our Corpus Christi retail/inventory manager.
She was born and raised in Port Aransas, Texas and is the daughter
of Sunny and Susan Castor. She studied business finance with
an emphasis in real estate at Texas Tech University and Texas
State University. She is very enthusiastic about her position
and role at the Susan Castor Collection and enjoys learning the
ins and outs of the business Susan started twenty-five years
ago. Outside the office, Cathryn enjoys spending time with her
family, friends, and boyfriend Raleigh and their dogs. She loves
to fish, hunt, and go to the beach when she can.
